A Misconception with Escape
An escape simply means to run away from being caught, caught by anything we have a fear from. Its not about that particular escape, from fire or from being caught red handed by the authorities, or being caught by our parents sneaking out lately at night.
This may all even includes the escape from deadly forests having folks of tigers, foxes etc. Children have another set of escapes in their mind such as saving themselves from a situation of being caught. While taking out the extra candies or eating ice cream when its cold etc. These are the basic escapes we talk about every day. And are the situations, we usually use the word escape for.
While if we talk about escape, and we think for a moment about it without the efforts of going depth in the meaning of it, we can discover that escape is a whole wonder in its own self. And escape is what every moment with us, every single moment in which we are breathing, keeps escape side by side. How? So for that, let me go in to your situation of right now. You are reading this article, escaping from some other work to read this, at the same moment while reading this you are making efforts to escape from a problem that is stroked in your mind and you are escaping your thoughts. See that’s right. I told you, escape is going to stay with you till your last breath.
Now, you will hit me with an argument that “escape” is considered as a negative attribute. People do feel anxious around a person who escapes a lot, as somehow escape is about leaving some responsibility behind and giving it no sort of importance.
And it also differentiates that how much a person value one thing over the other. Yes, that’s the first answer to you from your own question. Escape opens up the door of mind for a person to choose between what is more important and what is not. That’s the beginning towards success and happy life. That you get to know for what you are going to sacrifice your precious time and for what you are not going to.
Ultimately onwards, escape brings positivity to life because its the one thing you do in a bothering situation which is important enough for you. It makes the difference between you and the other people. It makes the difference between sadness and happiness. Well, its so easy from a situation which does not seems fine to you. But the most positive form and meaningful escape is the escape from our feelings and from our own thought’s. Its so because you can change the place which bothers you. You can leave the people who bother you and you can escape everything in your surrounding. Except your mind which is full of ultimate thoughts, which are creating new thoughts every single moment.
Escaping from our own thoughts seems so hard and impossible. And we do have a debate from years and years about controlling our thoughts and emotions. But inevitably that’s been not matching the required onset.
To this escaping from our thoughts is better, when even thoughts place the emotions which we feel and on which our whole day depends. We cannot say that hundred percent, we would escape from our thoughts. But bit by bit time will pass and that’s what a day is about, to pass time in a healthy and happy way.
For escaping your own thoughts, you just need to get indulged in healthy activities. Which do keep our cognition in work. And don’t spare time for us to thought. Or you can even practice to thought about the thoughts at the start of the day or at the end of the day for a limited time. Workout is a good habit to add in. Eating healthy is important and reading a good book, lifting up your hope and confidence are important at the start of the day. This boosts up the level of happiness. Besides this, drinking a cup of coffee sitting on your couch is tremendous too. Similarly talking to your friends and spending time with family are worthy enough. It’s all what creates a good escape for us, to live healthy and happy.
